1 Hour Down!

One hour down! I started with the first book in the Hex Hall series by Rachel Hawkins. (I'm really into the paranormal)

Currently Reading: Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins
How many pages: 54
Snacks consumed: scrambled eggs for breakfast before the RAT started and coffee that lingered into the first hour.
Total Pages: 54
Completed Books: 0
Challenges Entered: 0

This book is so funny! I have a hard time believing that Rachel Hawkins has never written anything before! The character's sarcasm and whit is so like mine and I spent most of the first hour laughing out loud, I'm sure distracting my mom who is doing the RAT with me! Here's her blog, be sure to check her out too! Wall-To-Wall Books.

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today? New York (not the city)
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to? All of them! I really can't decide. I have an awesome pile this year, and I'm even planning on swiping some from my mom's pile!
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to? Sushi for sure!
4) Tell us a little something about yourself! I'm 23, I work as an activity coordinator at an assisted living home for elderly with dementia, and also as a barista at the Barnes & Noble cafe. I'm addicted to coffee and jewelry. My mom is my best friend. I have two fish that I always forget to feed but somehow manage to stay alive. Hmm... what else? Oh yeah, I'm a Christian/Hippie (figure that one out!)
5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to? I don't think I'll do anything differently besides maybe not napping in the middle of the night. I always tell myself that I'll stay awake all night but then I give in to the temptation to close my eyes for a few minutes which dangerously turns into an hour! I am most looking forward to finishing more books this time than I did last time, meeting new blogger friends, and SUSHI! Plus spending time with my mom, but I do that all the time anyway :)
